Founded 50 years ago as a small family company, then little-known Mackays has evolved to be a fashion powerhouse currently known as M&Co.; The company has grown in leaps and bounds, thanks to its family culture which has ensured clients are nurtured and retained.

M&Co; has steadily retained a good number of its staff too through having a fair business model which enables the client, the staff, and the business to thrive harmoniously. A quarter of the staff at M&Co; has worked for the company for a decade. Some members of the staff have been around for over 30 years!
Currently, the company has a total of 3,900 members of staff. While 400 of the staff work from the headquarters in Inchinan (beside Glasgow Airport) the rest are spread throughout the over 300 stores. As a family business, it initially had only six outlets. Through the years of customer satisfaction and service, M&Co; has always ensured clients only get the best products in the industry.
